Following the success of 12000 XT, FS and S reels Fox were inundated with requests for a more compact reel that would more suitable for medium range angling with lighter rods. After two years of research and

development Fox came up with the FX11, which can only be described as a scaled down big pit reel. Although compact the FX11 is still capable to being used on high test curve rods and will cast a rig well in excess

of 150 yards in the right hands.

The FX11 features super-slow oscillation that gives impeccable line lay and improved casting distance. The FX11 also features Quick Clutch that allows the user to go from the spool being locked up to free running

in just half a turn of the drag.
