Stock Status

In Stock: If an item is showing in stock then it should be available for delivery (next day service at additional charge*)

Out of Stock: If an item is showing zero it is not in stock and will be updated when more stock arrives.

Delivery times:

Orders over £35.00 (larger items) are generally sent with our courier DPD local, delivery to you from the order being placed is typically around 2-3 working days.

Next day delivery is available at an additional charge of £6.95 for orders placed before the 12.30pm cut off time. For example, if a next day order is placed at 11.30am on a Monday it will be dispatched the same day for delivery on Tuesday but if the order was placed at 1pm on Monday it would be dispatched Tuesday for Wednesday delivery. (Working day Mon-Fri deliveries only)

Orders under £35.00, small items and all terminal items are generally sent with Royal Mail and delivery is approximately 3-5 working days. Again, items can be sent next day service with DPD Local a cost of £6.95 if ordered before the 12.30pm cut off time.

DPD Delivery information.

DPD Local deliveries are Monday to Friday only, excluding Bank holidays. We will inform you as soon as your order is dispatched and provide the tracking number and dispatch confirmation by email. DPD local will also message you either by email or text message if you have given a mobile number on your order to keep you informed of progress and also to provide a one-hour time slot for the delivery. Changes can be made to the delivery by going to the DPD Local website https://www.dpdlocal.co.uk/ where you can arrange to leave with neighbour, leave safe or even ask for the delivery to go to local parcel shop for you to collect later. This can also be arranged through the DPD Local App on your mobile. As standard we do request that someone is in for the delivery unless you have instructed otherwise however the parcel can sometimes be left with a near neighbour if you are not in, If you do not want this as an option please advise us when placing the order. If you are not in a card will be left for you to give further instructions and one more delivery attempt will be made and if not successful on the 2nd attempt, time will be given for you to contact the depot to make arrangements for the delivery. If you do not respond to the cards the item will be returned to us. (see missed deliveries) If you need any assistance with re-arranging a delivery please contact us through our contact page on the website. Please note: Any item left safe or with a neighbour is an agreement between you and the courier company and Fishing Tackle 2 Go will not accept any liability. Mobile numbers are essential so we would ask you try to provide them where possible as the driver may need to contact you. Tracking usually comes live around 7pm on the day of dispatch.

When the item is delivered due to Covid issues a signature is no longer possible, the driver will ask your name and write this in the signature box.  Please ensure that you check the Parcel packaging well and please ask the driver to mark as damaged if there is any external damage.

Royal Mail Delivery Information

Royal mail orders are generally sent Royal Mail 48 class with 2D tracking so they cannot be checked in transit but will be scanned to show the item has been delivered. If the item is over £30.00 it will be sent fully tracked. Royal Mail deliveries typically take 2 -3 days from the time of dispatch but it can take longer. If you have not received your parcel please wait 15 working days from the date of dispatch before contacting us, on the 16th working day we can contact Royal Mail and ask them to investigate. Please Note: No delivery times or services are guaranteed.

Change of delivery address.

The delivery address can be different from the billing address but needs to be done at the checkout stage. For security reasons it is not always possible to change the address depending on the payment method. If you do wish to change the delivery address, please contact us through the site contact page. If the item is still in packing it may be possible to alter the address, however if the goods are in transit there will be a charge of £6.95 to change the address.

Refusal of deliveries, Unwanted orders and Missed deliveries.

Once your order has been placed you have a contract with Fishing Tackle 2 Go to accept the goods. If a delivery is refused, missed or unwanted you will be refunded on delivery of the item back to us less a £6.95 delivery charge, and the return delivery fee of £16.00 for all UK orders, these are the costs that we incur with these deliveries from the courier when items are refused or returned.
